In Acts 2, Luke describes how the first followers of Jesus lived as a gospel-centered community. He says, "They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer... Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people." Community groups are the heart of Aletheia. We have a number of small groups meeting weekly at homes throughout the city to study God's word, to pray and encourage one another, and to serve the community in which we have been placed.
