Aletheia Church Richmond exists to mobilize a generation of people to spread the fame of Jesus, build a community passionately living out the words of God together, serve the city of Richmond through acts of mercy and words of truth and, impact the world by engaging internationals and fulfilling God’s global cause.

How Does The Gospel Commission Us?

We are called and sent to be the church on mission for God’s glory all the time whenever we gather, wherever we go and in whatever we do – every part of life is supposed to be dedicated to the ministry and mission of the gospel.

To walk in line with the gospel means that the truth of the gospel gets worked out in the stuff of everyday life – through everyday activities. Although it may seem strange to a world that is perishing, it should not seem strange or abnormal for us to live our lives with gospel intentionality on gospel mission because of our gospel identity.

Therefore, in order to equip the church to live with gospel intentionality in everyday life, the leadership of Aletheia Church Richmond sees three areas of mission that must be accomplished:

Cultivate Gospel-Centered Families

We desire to encourage families to live by the power of the gospel & to commit to the local church.

Mobilize Gospel-Centered Missionaries

We desire to train individuals to engage their areas of influence with a thoughtful, compassionate, and loving explanation of the gospel.

Plant Gospel-Centered Churches

We desire to extend God’s kingdom by the proclamation of the gospel through church multiplication.

We are so excited that you have decided to check out Aletheia Church Richmond! It is our desire to be more than a place, but rather a biblical community that brings fame to Jesus in the city of Richmond through genuine love, acts of mercy and words of truth. We believe this happens when followers of Christ take seriously the command of God to relate to “one another” in authentic gospel community. It is in the context of community informed by the gospel message, that we clearly see God’s desire for each of us to be on mission with Him to extend His kingdom in the spheres of influence that He has skillfully placed us.

Our hope is that you would root yourself in the local church and in doing so discover the transforming power of God’s grace that not only will change you but also bring renewal to our city, and the world we rest in and proclaim together the finished work of on the cross Jesus.

Aletheia Church Richmond gathers each Sunday at 10 a.m. to worship Jesus encourage one another in the gospel. We are located at 700 West Franklin Street, Richmond, VA.
