Two Become One
Beginning this Easter, the members of Aletheia Church (Richmond) are joining the members of Remnant Church to form a new community of Jesus-followers who can accomplish more together than we could apart.
Just as when two people join their lives together “in interest and destiny as one” (as the formal wedding vows customarily state) and become “one flesh,” God has united the “interests and destinies” of Aletheia Richmond and Remnant Church into a single, unified community. You could call it a merger, but we like to think of it as a marriage. And marriage isn’t just a partnership of two individuals who work closely together; it’s an entirely new entity. One joint effort. One shared passion. One new life together.
