"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." 1 Peter 2:9-10
In our current teaching series "Exile" we are studying the book of 1 Peter. We are discovering how our gospel centered identity in Jesus informs us how to live on mission with God as His "Exiled" people here on earth. We will study such topics as the character of God, salvation, future hope, biblical womanhood and manhood, the church, and suffering. We look forward to seeing each Sunday at Aletheia Church Richmond at 10 a.m. as we look at what it means to "Exiled" by the world but graciously chosen by God.
